The Iron Maidens 'Wasted Years' Las Vegas

This was casually shot on a little Flip UltraHD with built-in mics from the audience by Roy Rendahl, Trimordial Studio. (There is no way to control the recording volume on this tiny consumer camera, but I have found later that putting pieces of tape over the mics helps when recording loud sources.)

The beauty of live gigs is that people mess up but correct the mistake and carry on. The audience on the whole don't notice or care, they are there to enjoy themselves.

@vegasvic64 The video isn't too bad but the audio...Are you kidding me? You didn't do this band justice. They sounded great. Although you did give a great example of what NOT to post if your business is in the audio/video production. Your work should be your business card.

Your post should have been nothing less than the quality posted by the Ovations Audio Engineer. Especially since you posted a website link to your studio and did some editing or production on this ( Intro - Credits etc) Take a look at the post from turbowm before you respond. What an aweful post from a professional studio. What were you thinking Roy? I was at this show. You're either using this video as an example of the quality of your work or the Flip UltraHD equipment you chose to use. No matter your reason, I wouldn't use the equipment nor your company for any recording of live music.
