the fact there are still people out there that believe he'd be any better than bramblestar in the end shocks me, ashfur was a ticking time bomb in his own right and that is CLEARLY shown through both the fire scene and the entirety of the broken code

Everybody’s talking about their favorite expressions and mine is by far 0:22. It’s totally unreadable, and in a way that makes it scarier than any of his clearly deranged faces. Is he mad? Surprised? In love? You can’t tell, and especially considering it follows directly after all his blatant obsession, it really makes him uncanny.

I adore how truly unhinged ashfur looks in this. It's something that makes people *really* notice how he was to squilf, even if it is an AU. The art is amazing, and I adore how he goes from bramblestar to ashfur. Its scary, not in a way that makes the viewer scared, but in a way that makes the viewer scared for squilf herself.
