These Lakitu Nerfs CHANGED Mario Kart

In Mario Kart Wii, it took like 8 years for lakitu to get you back on the track after falling off the map

One of the biggest things about MK8 I dislike is that Lakota pulls you up right after falling. Growing up on Wii, there was something satisfying about watching Mario characters fall to their deaths

Was also probably removed so the acceleration stat had more of a purpose 😕

Honestly falling off the map is no where near as punishing in 8DX so makes sense

don't forget that lakitu now takes 3 coins each time you fall off

Lakitu pulls you up even faster if you have more coins, but will take a maximum of 3 coins from you.

the lakitu in mario kart tour is so over powered it makes him one of the top tier besides bower and bowser jr and baby peach. lakitu shoots these red shells rapidly if you get a freezy with him and they are triple heat seeking so good luck dodging that, then theres bowser and bowser jr.s giant spike shell that flies across the whole track and hits everyone in the center of the track and breaks all items they hold.
