Volkswagen Sharan MPV review - CarBuyer

The Sharan is a seven-seat MPV which seems built to last and boasts a large cabin with flexible seating for carrying large goods or large families. Unlike a lot of MPVs it boasts car-like handling and feels light on its feet on windy backroads. The engines are brilliant, offering frugal economy and punchy performance. The let-down is the high price-tag but some people will be willing to pay for the quality on offer here.

I love sharan so much because it has sliding doors, huge car, room for children and big windows for the children to see same as seat alhambra

It's funny to see him "complain" about the size, yet compared to our trucks, SUVs, and vans here in America, this MPV is actually quite small. It's funny how different our two countries are in what we like.

what about safety?
How strong it is or built in case anything worst happened?
How comfortable it is to drive for long hours?
Where is the hand/parking brake? is it reliable
(I had VW Passat which electronic Hand/Parking brake which often loose itself or stop working at all, so I had to turn the car off and put it in first or reverse gear)

@knupaw No, the VW badge is the expensive one, SEAT's it's cheaper, everybody knows making circular badges it's not cheap, also the Alhambra looks way better

Good review but what about the space for luggage on trips with a family of 7. How annoying you forget to talk about the avaliable luggage space available? If it doesn't have any whats the point?
