Quick-fire review of VW's all-new Sharan

I don't know how he can say "the same verdict will broadly be applicable" - often cars with donor chassis come out completely differently (for better or worse). It's like saying the Crossfire will be roughly as good as the SLK. And I think particularly in the MPV & SUV segment where it's largely about the interior, there could potentially be a huge difference in 2 cars based on the same frame.

We got the VW version because it is a bit posher than the Alhambra and the seats are nicer in the SE spec. Also it looks great in pantheon grey.

@autocar i was wondering if you guys are going to review the dacia duster i had a go in the interior is a bit bland but otherwise its a pretty cheap and cheerfull car

@uglyguitarman what you're getting is Grand C-Max, it is a 5+2 seater with sliding doors but it is not as big as Galaxy or these two

We have one and it is way more roomy inside for 7 adults than it is for 5 adults in a Audi Q7

Mmm the joy of MPV's. Well joy more like if you need it it is there. Big Families or even quite active families in where you have to move around lotsa things. Well it will do fine.

It though isn't as beautiful as an old VW van *chuckle*
