That scream that Johnny does at the end is just.... ugh! It is gut wrenching in the best way!
I think something that is enormously damaging is when a teacher---- someone whose job it is to impart knowledge---- tells you that you're hopeless. Not only do you feel small, you are made to feel like you're so awful that you can't even be taught.
I learned far too late in life that some teachers arent in the job because its their calling, amd therefore grow to resent said job, and then take it out on their students.
Johnny's scream at his teacher is so powerful. He knows his worth because he already knew it himself, but also was lucky enough to find the right teacher.
By far my favorite moment in Sing 2.

Why is nobody talking about the amazing, primal yell he does at the end? In that moment he let out all of his emotions and without telling him anything, let Klaus know how much he hurt him. Taron did an excellent job portraying this.

One of the most iconic scenes of all time. "You will never be great, Johnny" brings me to tears every time. The teacher is the ultimate challenge to rise against. This is the moment that Johnny defines himself.

I loved how Ryan (the tiger dancer) was so supportive of Johnny, and genuinely was pleased with his progress. He's great.

It might only be a small scene but I love how his dad is like "That's my boy" sounding so proud of him compared to the first movie where he didn't support his dreams. Awesome development right there!

I love this scene always. In every single movie, johnny always has a mentor. First it was that lizard lady(forgot her name) then he tried finding it in that monkey but couldn't and found it in his friend. He just needs people to push him and show him how great he already is. In a way the monkey is right, johnny won't be great until he realizes he is without mentors and friends.

I love how Nooshy the street dancer has just been added to the theatre family, yet she's already encouraging, and standing up for them. How all of the background performers stand with Johnny !! I love it

One thing I and probably most others can agree on is that in both sing movies Johnny has one of if not the best arcs of all the other characters

I love how the teacher is proud of Johnny for proving him wrong and defeating him in the end.

It was a little confused when the "planet of war" was a soft piano pop song, but the amount of emotion pulled out of the characters and environment during the "fight" was genuinely breathtaking, definitely something that if in a liveaction musical would have the audience at the edge of their seats.

(Favorite part is definitely 4:19, just the pure anger and defiance on his face when he finally gets fed up, perfection 😌👌)

Not exaggerating - this has changed the way I do my homework. I go to a private school that loves to assign homework and listening to this not only keeps me 95% focused (5% dreams about going to Disney World) but it also relaxes me without even knowing it. I find myself being so incredibly focused and relaxed - this is my new secret weapon.

And another thing I love is the attention to details that illumination has put in the movie with the animal behaviours.

In the wild monkeys show their teeth in order to scare and intimidate the others and to show who is on top in the hierarchy. And the fact that Johnny showed his teeth to the probopass( that is the name of the dance instructor specie) is awesome as with that action he finished his declaration to the dance instructor that he is no longer scared of him and cemented the emerging respect that the dance instructor had for Johnny as you can see in his eyes that for a moment he was scared of him as he gulped.

This is still my favorite moment in Sing 2. Johnny ismy favorite character and the way he was treated by someone who was supposed to be his mentor had me incensed. So watching him stand up for himself, letting out that rage filled crg at the end, and SHOWING him I WILL BE GREAT was just the best ❤❤❤❤❤

I like how he earned the teachers respect at the end shows such a powerful message that even people that hate you can have a heart

3:35 scene, was so unexpected when me and my family saw this in theaters in Chicago AMC theater, and at the end of Johnny’s revenge part everyone in the theater we were in started clapping. And it was just so awesome of Johnny to show Klaus he wasn’t going to let him bring down his confidence.
