This time Koala Buster Moon wants to present the most extravagant and dazzling stage show ever seen. But big dreams and spectacular hits also call for a bigger stage than the Moon Theater. The Crystal Tower Theater in the glamorous big city would be perfect - but there's one small problem. Actually, three. First, Buster Moon, mother pig Rosita, rocker porcupine Ash, elephant Meena, gorilla Johnny and pop provocateur, pig Gunter, must somehow make it to the office of music mogul Jimmy Crystal and convince the unscrupulous wolf to let them use his theater. It's a hopeless endeavor until Gunter spontaneously promises him the scoop: rock legend Clay Calloway (Bono) will return to the stage for this show! The problem: Buster has never met Clay, a lion who has retired from show business! While Moon's all-star ensemble works to put on the spectacular show, the koala sets out to find Clay. What begins as a dream of great success becomes an emotional reminder of the healing power of music.

When paying attention, this emotional message was directly adressed to Nooshy ("in the sky" referring to her sitting high up), you can see he smiled and raised the note as soon as he realized she was supporting him (with her fist). Sounds like a declaration 😊

I just came to say how supportive his actual dance partner was throughout this whole ordeal. All his classmates in the choreography studio seemed friendly and welcoming to Johnny, but the tiger especially was super patient and didn't seem to mind working with him. It's a shame the tiger never actually got to do the performance since he'd be replaced by Nooshy.

Ok but this part of the movie was the strongest moment in my opinion, it is the part where you as an audience member can see how seriously they took this scene specifically. I can't even describe how much I loved seeing this.

God this whole song/performance was chilling. To the audience POV it was a good fight, but to Jonny and his friend (don’t know the name it’s been a minute ;-;) it was like a trial/test for him, to prove that you don’t need to hurt yourself to make the performance good, dispite how some shows present it. I know not all do but I remember a dance professor of mine was like the instructor. He push us to our limits, basically degrade us a lot until we either cried or somehow push through or time was up. God I remember I got so pissed at him that I was about to leave permanently, but a friend who was also part of the class kept me there, giving me motivation and helped me calm down. Then turns out someone set a recording up secretly and it showed him almost abusing and beating a dancer who was crying, and he got jailed for abuse of minors and other charges. Not gunna lie I laughed when I heard the news and all of us (the dance class) went out to eat afterwards. The new instructor was a kind lady and she also had a assistant who had a phycological degreee to help us from the trauma the old man gave us

Anyone notice that breakdancing was the best type of dance for a gorilla since his feet are hands and using your hands in breakdance is pivotal. Great little bit there.

My favorite part is when all the other dancers join in with pounding their staffs on the ground. They all know that Johnny is trying to set himself up for a rematch against Klaus. And I get the feeling that they can all plainly see what Klaus’ pride has made him blind to, that Johnny is a great dancer. They’re all more than happy (especially the tiger offstage in his underwear pounding a broom) to watch Johnny serve Klaus a big helping of humble pie.

This film marked the end of the 2010's. After this released a new version of films and music has arrived. This film will forever hold a place in my soul.

And one last thing, this movie was meant for the theater! If you liked this movie and watched it at home you really missed something great! Just in this scene alone, the extra bass was incredible
