My Top 3 FAVORITE Civ 6 Mods (Full Breakdowns)

From Quick Deals, to Sukritact's Oceans, there are some absolutely INCREDIBLE Civ 6 mods in the steam workshop after nearly a decade of development, and I want to take the time in this video to highlight my favorite additions from 5+ years of playing the game as a regular

City Styles (Leugi)

Adds some new City Styles, Canals and Monuments for Gathering Storm, and allows modders to use XP City Styles for their own civilizations. I suggest using this with any of the mods that allow max zooming because they are pretty if I do say so myself.

Religion Expanded (Pokiehl)

Religion Expanded raises the founded-religions-per-game cap to a maximum of 16, introduces more than 40 new beliefs, and adds new, fully-customized religious buildings. In short, religion becomes more dynamic and personalized.

Additionally, the text of nearly every original Belief in the game has been updated to fix typos, be clearer, and make better use of existing font icons.

Oceans (Sukritact)

Oceans is a brand new Game Mode that will breathe new life into the world's coasts, with new resources, new features, and new gameplay.

Kelp Forests teem the seas, encouraging growth and slowing navies. New resources, such as Seals, Squid, and Coral, now lie waiting beneath the depths, adding more variety.

Coastal Luxuries are now different for every continent, so new oceans will yield new riches. Improvements and Districts, such as the Fishery and the Water Park are adjusted to account for these changes.

Remove Strategic Resources (3D Girls Are Obsolete)

Detailed Map Tacks (Witk)

8:20 I actually like the idea of playing around strategic resources being a permanent fixture on the map. If you’re planning on building a district on a plains tile, maybe delay learning animal husbandry so the horses don’t spawn on that tile before you get to place your district. It requires additional thought. Adding the ability to remove strategic resources just feels like cheating to me, and not playing the game as intended.

You should do modded civs, they are fun to play, people like Merrick, Lime, Leugi, Suk, the Civitas teams, JDF and others have really fun modded civs, my suggestion for a very unique one to play is Lime's Teotihuacan

But unfortunately city style breaks game graphic if you have too many mods.
