It's hard for me to imagine that people actually find my type cute

I am an INTP, but was labeled by my family as a “useless weird-o” as a child. My parents only expected me to only get a passing grade on report cards, so that’s all I gave them. It was pretty easy to figure out how to do that. I self-educated despite my family not allowing me to purchase books or go to the public library by saving up my allowance and buying books in secret and hiding them. When I took the ACT exam for Community College, I - to my surprise - scored very well and then excelled in college and had a successful career as a software engineer. I am 60 years old and hopefully few INTP children are treated like this any more. However, I’m wondering if any INTP’s watching this had similar experiences with their family?

With bad Fe you almost cannot be anything else then authentic.
I developed social skills later in life but barely use them as I dont care about "fitting in".

I just remembered, I grew up schooled w/ what I believe several female ENFJ or Fe Dom teachers who tended to favor my silent, behaved, well mannered & for lack of better term, 'academically intelligent' side as an INTJ. At best, I got very high grades w/ these ENFJ teachers who seemed to like 'boasting' about me on occasions - although I felt proud about it, it also made me uncomfortable & respond very timidly. The Fe 'presence' made me look & feel like a tamed sheep but inside I was aware this was not true because I was a jerk at home or w/ my friends. Furthermore, I find myself aggressive in the company of Te doms so this threw me off a bit because I somehow had two personalities & I found myself constantly seeking consistency from these regular interactions back then.

Now, watching the Fe inferior display of INTP's on this video, just reminded me of Fe's balancing role in the greater social world. INTP's or INTJ's, particularly NT types, are 'humbled' in the presence of Fe because our deep & lofty ideas & analysis do not produce lighthearted & happy atmosphere. Hence, Fe becomes a force to reckon w/ among the intellectual types bringing them back down to our 'human' reality. As always, your clips always trigger my imagination. Thanks!

Inferior Fe sucks because I’m greatly misunderstood and seen as a hypocrite at times. Once people are around me enough, I see that people appreciate my company but it’s frustrating because when I first meet people I put in too much effort into matching other’s personalities to fit in- however I do feel like I do that because of me struggling to fit in during my childhood. I’ve always dealt with a level of insecurity because of that.
The older I’ve gotten though I’ve been working hard on not focusing on it too much. I’ve often noticed that my struggle with Inferior Fe has taken a lot of focus out of my own self improvement.

As a true INTP I completely confirm my true nature of dealing with the world is cuteness it's in my veins for some reason I can't hide it or deny it cuz it's who I am authentically
But honestly once I get in the serious mode you better run!

I think inferior Fe has a great capacity to appreciate that power to affect others emotionally (for better or worse, which includes manipulation) implicit in Fe, without taking it for granted, because it takes conscious effort for us and doesn't come so naturally. I imagine that affecting others in this way is so second-nature to an Fe-dom that you're using Fe without even realizing it often times. (Would you say that's accurate for you?) That, in turn, I believe could cause the ExxJ to take their power for granted, while IxxP will stand in awe of that power and, arguably, appreciate it more and perhaps even see the responsibility as a daunting burden. Of course, as much as we value Fe, when Fe conflicts with Ti and it comes down to "truth or nice, " those niceties are gladly thrown out the window.

i get called cute often and the moment they say it idk what to do and i get awkward af because they just keep smiling looking at me? i wish people didn't do that. same goes for compliments. if you think im cool pls dont tell me. i feel appreciated, but i make sure not to really believe it and i dont want to do the job of reacting to it. its hard. but its very sweet of people to think so.

Can inferior Fe come out in anger? Sometimes when I’m being nagged on about “do it this way or do that” I eventually crack and yell at the person saying to leave me alone and I want to do this by myself. It’s a rather unhealthy form of it but I think it’s an inferior Fe if I’m correct.
