I went back and had another look at my dex after initially thinking meh its ok.Desk top hub and dex max fixes most of its quirks and has made it my go to device, ignore this review its not 100 percent necessary to get the upgraded dex as the dock works just fine with mouse and keyboard.For what you can pick one up for now it is well worth the money.

Why would you even run Samsung pay in dock mode? I get that the android apps suck in native small windows. There is a way to enable resizing though.

Go to settings, Dex settings, Click about, Click on the Samsung Dex logo 5 times, then go into Regular developer options and choose Force Activities to be re-sizable. (Not sure if you need to enable regular developer mode as well, but its easy. Settings, About phone, Software information, tap on build number repeatedly until it enables regular developer mode)

The reason most apps are NOT resize-able is because devs need to update their manifests with a flag that tells dex - hey, I am kewl with that. So ping the devs as well, it helps out in the long run.

It's coming with my Note 8. I want to use it on my 46" Samsung TV. And later move it to my night table to use a sleep app while in the dock. Seems perfect for me..

I still like Dex, Google should further develope this, I mean dual apps first came out on Samsung before Google got on board with the idea. Samsung keep developing your platform Google will catch up in time.

This can be a powerful tool for enterprises, mobile devices can become thin clients for VDIs. I don't know that I'd NEED one for home use but I'd certainly use it if I had it.

woah woah woah. this guy might I say is the worst reviewer and v blogger I've ever seen. he's completely downing a new amazing product from the worst best technology maker there is. Samsung dex is amazing. you have a ton of options to this. the s8 is the best phone in the entire world right now. until the note 8. why do people bash new technology? it really frustrates me. this is a neat option to browse, use apps, and, multitask on the b8g screen. you have the wireless keyboard. the wireless mouse and a dock. you don't have to worry about all those damn bulks chargers and cables. it's modern looking. it works well. and it's only 150 dollars for the damn thing. 100 for the monitor. 20 or 30 for the mouse. apple can't make things like this.
