Him saying “it’ll pass” hurts me more than it should.

Something small that I think a lot of people miss is that the ability of the priest to see Fleabag's fourth wall and her ability to see his foxes are basically them actually seeing each other for what they truly are. They are, for the entire series, the only characters that are truly and completely vulnerable with one another.

The way her face immediately crumbles after he says he loves her too.

I interpret her leaving us friends/audience behind as her leaving her inner judging voices/audience behind. She is living her authentic life now. Very beautiful.

I think the most surprising aspect of this series is how in only 6 episodes I was fully committed to this love pair. It was soul crushing to see them separated but simultaneously, I cannot see it being the other way around, you learn so much from pain, it just seemed that they still need to grow and may then reunite, but if not, they were already fundamental in each other's lives and that is all one can ask for.

Immensely fitting and satisfying. She just wanted to be loved after everything, and she got it.

"It'll pass" Liar! It hasn't passed for me for months after I finished Fleabag season 2.

I never realized before the hot priest was crying when he left Fleabag. Now my heart is broken.

This series was so perfect. The best part was when her sister told her she would only run to the airport for fleabag... sweet fleabag.

I can't help coming back to this although it feels truly masochistic. There are so many subtle details to this masterpiece. So for example we as her audience don't find out the true extent of her feelings for the Hot Priest until she tells him that she loves him. She doesn't tell us that, she tells that to him. And if you actually think about it, she doesn't really tell us much about him and her true feelings for him - except for "his beautiful neck" and "I fancy a priest" and an occasional humorous remark to the camera, which die down by the end of the series, when she becomes her quitest. With the other guys it's like she breaks apart every aspect of the "relationship" - she tells us about the sex, about how they make her feel, why she says the things that she says, she literally dissects everything. And it really makes you think that although we might feel like her confidantes, she never actually confides in us when it comes to her genuine, vulnerable self. Like with Boo, we only find out what actually happened from Claire and Fleabag is terrified when that happens. Andrew Scott said in an interview that in this show silences between Fleabag and the Hot Priest are as important as words and this is so true not only about what's left unspoken between them, but also between Fleabag and her audience. The fact that she doesn't speak to us about him tells us there's something genuine and truly deep happening here. God, this show is so good I can't even put it into words. Fleabag and the Hot Priest will always have a special place in my heart and no, it won't pass. Good god I rambled on here, just can't help it with this show.

I feel like when she looks at the camera and shakes her head it means we can’t follow her anymore, since we were kind of like someone she could tell anything to, but she doesn’t want us around anymore

This scene broke my heart in so many ways. First her raw honesty in 'I LOVE YOU', then his denial 'It'll pass' then him saying he loves her too even though it won't any difference. I could see her heart breaking at that time. Then she tells us not to follow her. Like this is where I'll leave you. Then her little wave at the end. I totally waived back. Goodbye my friend. She really started to feel like a friend in these short few episodes

The graffiti in the back "животе" means "life"
Fits perfectly

This end scene I took to be her finally processing the grief from the death of her mother. She’s spent the whole series running from it, and now she has the statue she can channel her love for her mother into something. The priest, her ex boyfriend, the hot guy- all were just avenues for the love she used to give to her mum

So beautiful that the sculpture got the new meaning which it represents Fleabag's mother, and that she always got 'her' to cling to no matter what happens

Atleast it's a happy ending for Claire and Klare. She was my favorite character in the show.
