Fleabag is a hilarious and poignant window into the mind of a dry-witted, sexual, angry, grief-riddled woman, as she hurls herself at modern living in London. Saw a cool theory on Reddit about how when he says her love will pass, it’s not only a way of comforting her, but also a recognition that human love is fluid, unpredictable, and fickle. He chooses God because he views Gods love as the opposite.

He can see her break the 4th wall.
She can see his foxes.
They were perfect for one another.

Andrew Scott was a fantastic addition to the cast. It's easy to forget that he was only in the second season, and he's the only person who really seems to understands Fleabag, including noticing whenever she's breaking the fourth wall to the audience.

That tear rolling down his cheek after he said "I love you too" gets me every time 😪❤ I do miss them 😪

What I also love about this is that they knew where to end the show like it's so fucking perfect

The camera views feels like us, she didn't want us to follow her again by her head shaking, and just say goodbye in the end, what a lovely ending...

why does nobody ever talk about how at 2:08, priest leans in a little to fleabag, as if wanting to kiss her, but then turning away the very next moment, as if having to physically stop himself from doing so? incredible acting, incredible writing, just an all round incredible show.

That she had the courage to tell him she loves him - without explanation or trying to make it less than it is - is wonderful. His casual, "I love you, too" is done so perfectly. We don't know if he loves her the same way she loves him - maybe he does, but we'll never know either way! - but it is love and it is beautiful and my heart swells whenever I watch this scene. And he does help her - by the end she knows that she'll be all right.

I don't know if this was serendipitous or done on purpose, but the word graffitied on the bus stop is ЖИВОТЕ, meaning LIFE in Serbian, written in the vocative case. It's what one shouts out to no one in particular when exasperated and when there is nothing more to say. Oh life!

No matter how difficult and painful it is to accept but he is right "it will pass" like a passing rain.

Ive watched this series more times than I care to admit and i don't think there has been a better story ever told. This final scene in particular, how poignantly perfect it is, I tear up every time I see it. It's videographic poetry.

I love this ending. It's got the ability to heal and devastate you.

I'm probably wrong but I'd like to think the viewer is actually fleabag communicating to her mother.
the priest being close to God is the only one who sees her "disappear" also makes sense.

And her loving the priest is the reason why she can see the fox.

I always thought she tossed the sculpture in the trash, but she still has it in her hand as she walks away

It’s kinda cool that they walk in opposite directions with the fox still following him, but ww can longer follow her.

This scene is so beautifully written & acted. You can feel all of the emotions between them.

Not every story ends well. But all bad endings aren't necessarly a bad thing! That's how I view Phoebe's message!

"It'll pass". No, it won't. It will get a little easier each day, gradually hurt a little less but not being able to be with someone you love and having to let them go is one of the worst feelings of all. I watched this just to cry all over again because it is such an achingly beautiful scene. 🥺
