That a company thinks about it. Great class. That makes the difference to all the other companies. Not to mention the product itself.

I am an amateur photographer, so many things I am trying to learn. I saw the Shimoda backpacks for the first time a couple of years ago. After extensive research, I finally ordered an explorer 40 L. As well, I also ordered the women’s technical straps. I can’t wait to try it out

I received my simple strap today and it is a great improvement over the regular strap. It fits me well except for the bottom strap. I have it down as low as it will go on the shoulder strap which fits me just like the video, but it needs to be able to go an half inch lower or if the strap were an inch longer than I could get it to go under my breasts. I can’t really tell that it makes that much of a difference to just leave it unhooked. I am not your typical adventure photographer in that I don’t rock climb or snow ski. I am also a senior citizen, an active one though. I mostly do day hikes of 5-10 miles and I really need a bag that can carry my essential 10 safety items as well as my camera gear. Let me repeat though, this strap really made a big improvement over the original strap and glad that I purchased it.

Yeah!!! Thank you for this. I will order mine as soon as I get back home. Since my bag is the explore 30 and almost new, any chance I could return the current straps. They are the most uncomfortable part of the bag and I pretty sure I won’t use them again. Of course I can’t do this until I get the new straps. Thank you again.

I listened to the advice given in this video and bought the tactical womens straps. I am a plus sized woman who wants to add cycling into my life with my baby and camera so I needed a pack that would help with that. The action X 30 is just right for all the gear and the straps do not pinch when I reach forward for my handlebars which is what I was worried about. They are extremely comfortable. I appreciate the 2 chest straps mostly when I decide not to use my hip belt but they are not intrusive when I use all 3 straps either. The left zipper pouch is too small to hold my Samsung galaxy s9 but it does fit in the right pouch. I have seen another woman fit a peak design camera clip to the tactical straps so I know it can be done but my pgytech seems like it would take some force to get it clamped on so I haven't done it yet. I may order a peak designs clip if I feel the need to clip and go. They were easy to order and easy to swap out the original straps (which I have in storage). Thanks for the thoughtful design!

Thanks so much for developing the straps.  Why aren't these offered as an option rather than extra expense?

Suggestion:please create a video showing how to unattach the current straps and attach the new one. I ordered mine today. Hope it comes soon. Thanks again for listening to us.

Glad you have considered the women's market. Why can't I buy a bag that comes with the straps instead of having to pay extra. Again happy that there is an option but tired of always having to pay extra for a woman's strap. The bags are expensive enough should be available with woman's straps. You almost had me.

I just received my bag and by far the most comfortable bag I have used.  I have the womens strap.  Still a bit on the fence though because the bag may be to tall as the back of my head does hits it when I look up.  I just received it yesterday so will see if I can adjust it to sit better. I am 5'2" but maybe my torso is too short:)...I noticed though that it sat high on several of the women in the video...I do really like the bag.

Ok, I received my straps. I went with the women's simple straps. I don't consider myself petite. I am 5'5" and 114 lbs. I have tested them on the pack without weight in the bag. I found the straps cut into my shoulders still and it is somewhat painful. Feels as if they are too wide. Debating on whether to spend another $35 plus $15 S&H to try to petite. Sigh...bag was already expensive and with trying the different straps will be spending extra $100. Would love to hear others experiences with the straps from people my size.
