New Restaurant Employee Rolls Into Milpitas Denny's

A new restaurant employee just rolled into the Bay Area and it has everyone talking. It doesn’t have arms or legs, but it’s been helping servers at a Denny’s in Milpitas for two days now — it’s a robot named Sunny. Stephanie Magallon reports.

I'm a server at Denny's and I don't see how this will be helpful. If it's busy enough to use this robot it would be in the way, and by the time it takes us to input commands I could have run the food myself and dealt with any issues

"The robot is helping employees to be more productive" is what they always say. They're parroting the pitch by the robot manufacturers. But that's not the reason they buy.
