CLIENT: THE LAST LEG
Event: Live TV Shows
Brief: To create comedic, satirical dance pieces for the popular Channel 4 TV show.
Our friends at Open Mike Productions love to keep us on our toes when creating the weekly topical news TV show The Last Leg. The live TV show often features a satirical song and dance at the end of the programme that may feature a band, singers, dancers and celebrity guests.
As the content of the show is based on recent news stories, the producers and writers have the task of creating the live show just days before it airs and we have worked with them on numerous occasions to bring their zany ideas to life over night!
From hip-hop Lions to high kicking Cossacks, Showgirls and Showboys, Blues Brother style Tory MP’s, 80s Wham tributes, contemporary Suffragetes and even dancing Yorkshire puddings…..we have created a wide range of wacky and hilarious performances over the last few years.
Due to our extensive pool of talent, we are able to pull together a team of performers that have the necessary skills to deliver the exact requirements for the specific brief. Our Choreographer works with the director, writers, cameramen and presenters on set to put together the performance just hours before the studio audience arrives.
We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next time!
