It feels like The Conjuring franchise has/had so much more potential. The Conjuring is a fantastic horror film, The Conjuring 2 is a rock solid sequel, and I really like Annabelle: Creation, but other than that, the other five films in the franchise range from decent to very bad. It’s a franchise where I see a lot of greatness in it, but without James Wan or David F. Sandberg, it really hasn’t reached that greatness.

i thought this would be like an Annabelle situation where the first was awfully received and the sequel had some more positive buzz around it

One of the nunning movies I've ever seen. It was absolutely nuntastic. I loved that one part where Valak said "IT'S NUNNING TIME!" Definitely a top nun moment, absolutely nuncredible!!

I'm not the most interested BUT I am a LOVER of Halloween as a holiday, so anything that gets me into the spirit of Halloween is a must-see

The end credit scene I am assuming is where they get the call to come exercise Frenchie later in life because he's possessed still later in life that storyline came in the Conjuring 2

I just watched the first 'The Nun' a couple of hours ago, and I'm probably gonna forget all about it before I have to go see the 2nd one later tonight.

How does it compare to the recent insidious? You said the same thing about the audience knowing more than the characters. This happens a lot in films

Hey Sean! Loved your video as always! I also reviewed this one in my channel recently and I just wanted to tell you that the post credit scene it's not about what's going to come (I guess) it's to connect it with the other movie bc Valak was exorcised by Ed and Loraine (we saw that in the begging of other film)

So no one's gonna talk about the fact that the "DEVIL" could not break thru the doors in 2 occasions

Dude the ending was not for me "Sister will you pray with me" if you know you know horrible final showdown with the nun

Yeah did I miss something about the credit scene? Seems like it’s heading to Nun 3 as you know that Frenchie meets the warrens from in Conguring 1, assuming this is leading to either Conjuring 4 or Nun 3!

I didn’t think I’d like it because I absolutely do not like the first one, however I was surprised. I think it took the good qualities from the 1st movie and implemented them well here. Nice, creepy images(especially the news stand scene) and I think Taissa Farmiga is even better in this film. It’s like Annabelle Creation all over again.

All in all I’d give it a 7.5/10. Solid movie.

I audibly laughed at that mid credit scene😂 It felt like Tony stark getting a call from Nick Fury

This movie was good, I give it a 7.5/10. I thought the beginning was slow but when it got to the horror scenes it was intense and good jump scare scenes, I even jumped at two parts. I love when horrors have good jump scares. Not the best horror movie of this year at all but still good

do you need to watch the first nun to understand this movie or are they like standalone movies that you dont need to watch in order like purge

Can anybody Explain the goat demon to me please? Like this serious threat just appears out of nowhere with no explanation for what it is or how it came to be. The children talk about how the goat in the window is the devil but i refuse to believe this franchise just introduced a literal depiction of the devil himself and made him a completely ineffective side creature that was incapable of killing or even catching a group of small children. What is that goat demon, how did it appear from the window and for gods sake do not tell me it was the Devil, because it cant be

I will be seeing the nun 2 this Sunday.. I was actually looking forward to it. But after seeing everyone say it was better than the first, that they hated the first one, it makes me feel like I’m not gonna like it because I LOVED the first one. Taissa Farmiga delivered a captivating performance. So did the guy who played frenchie. Even though they were limited with action because they were alone, I feel like they filled that void pretty good. They also had the “other nuns” which I felt delivered a captivating experience as well. Even if a lot of the movie was predictable..I love movies that are focused more so on one or two characters.. therefore the nun was a good stepping stone for the nun 2.. it also had a lot of horror elements & a dark atmosphere which I also love.. and the way they used the blood of Christ to rid of the nun was a great way to end the movie.. so, my bar for the nun 2 is set pretty high.. I hope it doesn’t disappoint because the first conjuring movie, Annabelle returns home and the nun are my favorites in the conjuring universe..

Can you Sean please explain to me why don't you like the bond movie Octupussy. I personally find it very entertaining as most of Roger Moore ran and it's really underated, it's very good action, fun villans, gorgeous bond girls and a kick ass score. Certainly it's not a game changer, but that doesn't make ot bad and i am a massive defender of the clown suit, and dont understand in general why i should defend something that makes sense. However i agree that the Tarzan scream is an embarrassment but isn't enough for me at least to ruin the entire movie. In my opinion Diamonds should be the worst in the ranking. Please comment

(This comment may contain some spoilers!!!!) Just to be sure haha!

I really liked the movie! Love how creative some of the moments when you saw the nun and/or some of the scares were (NOTE: I'm kinda new to horror so sorry if im completely wrong with my statement haha) I enjoyed it much more than the first Nun. But I have to say that the ending had me kind of ''Meh''. Especially because we as the viewers know Valak will still be around in the timeperiod of conjuring 2 and because Ed and Lorraine excercise Maurice. So me personally think it would give much more of an impact when Valak or like won on the end fight, or that he just murdered/hurt much more people. And I'm not entirely sure if sister Debra had much use this movie. Like she don't know if she believes for like the entire movie and all of a sudden one prayer works for her and Irene. Last thing I find a bit goofy is that the movie is called The Nun but when you think about it, there's not much demon nun in it right? Mostly it's Maurice or an other person that she has shapeshifted to. And don't get me wrong, I am aware of the fact that Valak chooses someone or something that you feel comfertable with but yeah I would've liked it to see The Nun a little bit more. Cuz great fan of that persona.

Yet again, kinda noobie in the horror genre still so forgive me if all of this made no sense. Overall, I really liked and enjoyed it and definately will go a second time to the cinema for it. (Long live working there yay!)
