The pitch effect should go after the arpeggiator - otherwise the automation only affects the initial note trigger

The way you setup the Scale Effect, I don't believe you are actually "quantizing" the notes (for instance C# -> C) but instead it's just not playing the note if it's not in C. To actually change the notes, you would need to map the note from input to output.

I could see using this technique to generate a take of music out which a section could be cut and repeated for a theme. Very informative vid, thank goodness for pause, to give me a chance to take notes... lol...

I kind of prefer Nahre Sol's method of using a randomised part on repeat to improvise on top of. And I really have enjoyed your more improvisational recordings, so I'd love to see you trying that kind of method. Hope this doesn't come across as damning with faint praise or anything. I enjoyed watching the tutorial, but I just had these thoughts from your closing statement I guess.

Also I think Bit Trip Runner did that exact "randomise from a pool of one octave in one key" thing for a lot of its sound effects. It sounded really familiar.
