Meanwhile Dana is putting 100k a hand on blackjack 😂

The undercard fights were a million times better than the main events on Noche UFC. I was so happy to stay up till midnight to watch this guy sell too

And we tend to forget that they have to pay their trainers with that money as well

12k to show and then another 12k to win... Then you gotta pay your coaches, gym fees, cover the costs of the fight camp.... Outrageously small pay for what they are doing

Dana is still a snake pretending that he's doing the Lord's work in the UFC

He said "it's not a lot of money", immediately remembered who signs his cheques, and quickly defended how that sort of pay is okay.

This is exactly why Sean wanted to fight Ilia so that if he lost he still has a belt

I would use the UFC as a gateway to celebrity boxing. Easier pay days. Make yourself a household name in ufc and move on like ngannou

24k a fight as a basic brand new fighter is 100% fair. You're offered 3 fights a year and if you lose all of them, that's 36k a year (basically around $19-20hr at a normal job) if you with then that's 72k a year. That's a lot of money for someone just starting out in UFC. The problem people see is that fighters don't make enough money, the problem they don't see is because the fighters aren't active. Take Kevin Holland for example. 5 fights and 5 wins in that 2021 run or whenever it was. He probably made well over 150k (before taxes), I'd say more likely around 300k that run

40% gone from taxes
10% trainer
Camp and additional fees 10%
with the left over 40% you got medical bills, dietritian. youre really keeping 25% in reality not even tbh

12 bands to get brain damage is evil. These guys outta be living better than that. The UFC is a multi billion dollar giant

Best example on why to stay active. The more you fight, the more your known, the more you will make. It’s simple but people only fight once a year don’t have a buzz and boring in the ring. But want big checks. 😂😂😂

We are witnessing the shift away from "legacy prize fighting"

Suga needs to move up, all the strikers are one div up. Would make for absolute classics. Being stuck in a div full of short stout grapplers ain't it for money fights.
