Songmont Review: Good, Bad & Big Question; Where is this heading? 🧐

Today we have one of the most requested brands to review - Songmont!

I got two bags from them: one is the small chocolate bag, used by a friend before our inspection, and the other is their popular Luna design, brand new in the box. We'll open both bags, inspect them in detail, and compare our findings to the brand's claims.

First impressions of the chocolate bag? It feels a bit plasticky, and I'm concerned about the materials and hardware quality. On the other hand, the Luna bag's leather quality and craftsmanship seem much better.

I really wish they would disallow the use of the word "leather" in descriptions if it's not, starting with "vegan leather". Grossly misleading, especially because there are now so many terms that the average consumer has a hard time keeping up. Thank you for this video!

Microfiber leather, man-made leather, PVC leather means IT AIN'T LEATHER. I've never been a fan of this brand, especially how it pushes bags to influencers. Thanks for another educational review.

I like the review. To attract markets from Asia, usually most companies try to avoid mentioning polyurethane leather or synthetic leather or PVC sponge leather. They will call it microfiber leather or just sponge composite leather by throwing out the words PVC and PU. But when consumers find out what they are using is not leather, usually companies in Asia will counter it with climate change issues so that other potential consumers don't run away. Luxury bag consumption in Asia, especially East Asia, is very large. Without exposure like this video, perhaps many people in Asia still don't know.

I just bought a chocolate backpack (old version) from poshmark, for $200, with shipping and tax was around $220 I paid. I wonder if people stopped watching the video right after the review of the first bag. He clearly said the Luna bag is of good quality and worth the price. Not every single item from a brand is worth purchasing.
