Is Demellier worth the hype?

Demellier leather goods has been on my radar for a while, and has been highly requested by you all here.

This is the Demellier London Envelope Clutch Bag.

Overall good leather and hardware, but despite the 'Made in Spain' label, I felt the craftsmanship was held back by some not so great internal assembly details.

I am looking forward to reviewing more leather goods from Demellier.

I was really about to pay a Demelier Vancouver bag online after watching so many YouTube reviews about it, there are a lot of great reviews and raves in social media and then I remember to check your channel and I’m so glad I did. Please, please so Bvlgari serpenti bags... they also sell small leather goods if you want to go that way. They are luxury brands best kept secret to those of us who are collect these brand bags for quality first.

Overall a nice alternative to luxury…. Doesn’t sound so bad… also they state they use sustainable materials which means they are not without flaws … also the fact that they help the children makes me feel better about spending my monies on them I have purchased PLENTY from big names and it’s never really up to par …. So I’m gonna be making some changes in my purchases ❤thanks for the video

I had found the Vancouver bag on sale and it did not feel like a $500 bag. The hardware was tarnishing (under the protective plastic), and the strap rubbed badly on the hardware it runs through on top of the bag. The leather didn't feel or smell like leather. Thankfully, it was returnable. I've purchased other mid-range bags from small leather makers, and this bag just did not compare to those.

I bought Seville metalassé in off white, the style is so beautiful, but I’ve noticed parts of the glue inside coming off. Such a disappointment. Although I have 2 high luxury bags, I can no longer justify such absurd purchases. For the price point of a Demellier bag, I think quality is a must. I don’t know when we normalized high prices and shitty quality. I saw people on the comments talking about Polene being better in quality, but in my experience not great either, I have 4 Polene bags, and that also was disappointing as all of them got scratched so easily. I don’t use them a lot, and I’m very careful with my things.

Hi! I don’t think that your review was fair. I have one Demellier bag and it didn’t come with a plastic bag, but in a really good paper one and of course the dust bag. Demellier has also other better designed and well crafted bags than the one you chose. Give them another chance 😊

Hey Tanner! Are there any leather furniture brands you’d recommend? My parents have a sofa that has lasted 30 years and is still going strong. I’d love to invest in one like that but I have no idea how to find that sort of quality. Just occurred to me to ask as I was watching! Love your videos, thanks for everything you post.
