"When it rains, it pours."

Once again, the waves of kitten season crash upon our doors, bringing with it a sea of tiny, furry lives desperately needing help. The rush has begun, and - just in the span of last we alone - we now find ourselves submerged in the care of ELEVEN fragile newborns. Our hands are full, and our resources are stretched thin. We need help; we need an Army of support to weather this storm.

Our first wave rushed in as a litter of FIVE teeny-tiny bottle babies, barely 1-2 weeks old. Then, shortly after, a second litter of FIVE arrived, just about 6 weeks old. And though they are eating on their own, their boundless energy and curiosity make them quite the handful.

Then came the 3rd emergency - in the form of a meek, yet brave, solo voyager – a little guy with a heart as big as his appetite. At just 4 weeks old, he is still being bottle-fed, though he is doing great venturing into the messy world of wet food (*and getting a little sloppy while he's at it!). He's a singleton, in need of a little friend to keep him company in these early weeks of life.

With the surge of kitten season, the true challenge begins. Resources are stretched thin, and support is even more crucial for the mounting veterinary bills, the round-the-clock feedings, the endless cleanings, and the tender care needed to ensure each kitten thrives.

Unaltered female cats can become pregnant at just 4 months of age, but these kittens' lives matter. And if not us, then who? Each and every life weighs heavily on our rescue, and the loving, compassionate hearts involved. We cannot look away from the innocent faces peering up at us.

It is pertinent we continue to fight for them; to be their VOICE. As we continue to care for these adorable little lives, we ask for your help in providing for their medical treatments and ongoing care.
