You described how to make a YouTube short. Remember that vertical videos have a different uploading format, 16 to 9 ratio, and the options for it can't be done with your phone. Has to be done with YouTube app program, which can technically be done with your phone, but I don't think the vertical option is on the phone app version. So we're talking using a computer for it.

Q: have you seen how some YouTubers are uploading long form (2-5-7 min) *vertical* videos to YouTube?

They seem to be recording the videos vertically, however long, and uploading them the way they are to Instagram, Tiktok, and YouTube. (Obviously, a lot less work)

Is this "ok", "now accepted", "fine" or is it a bad practice somehow? Does it have any bad consequences?
