i can not express my love for yona of the dawn mangaaa. I remember finding the first volume in my school libary after watching the anime a few months back. Since covid hit and i was in lockdown i decided to read the rest of yotd, and I literally bingeddd all 32 volumes. I ended up reading most of it online bc you know its a bit pricyy. Its a slow burn but it really is worth it, it so much more deeper than romance. It has different aspects of the war, political issues, adventure, character development. I really love all the characters and can relate to many of them in different ways. Seeing yonas character development and the desire to become stronger to learn how to fend for herself and the other was so inspiring. The storyline, the plot, the characters. Chefs kiss

I normally don’t read manga but Akatsuki no yona was so amazing that I might need to give shojo manga a chance.
Especially Yona’s development and Hakyona being one of the most healthy and supportive ships I’ve encountered in animanga.
Too bad that these amazing shojo stories won’t get full anime adaptations(well except for fruits basket) cause I would die for some of the scenes to get animated!

7:40 i could kiss you im so happy! ive been watching so many romance recommendation videos and hours of scrolling through my anime list for this one. i read it when i was younger, fell in love with it. 10 years passed and i could never remember the name only the scene where shes let down by the first guy she has a crush on. i swear i tried searching everything and could never think of the name of it. now i can finally add it to the anime collection and im so happy!

Yona of The Dawn is subjectively and objectively great. Every manga reader regardless of genre or demographic inclination should read it. But i would like to add my personal favorites:

- boku ni hana no melancholy
- hinata no blue

New subscriber here, I really enjoy and appreciate the way you describe these stories, it feels so effortless and yet is super descriptive and makes me feel like I can imagine how the rest of the manga may look like.
