Why Retire In Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico

Hermosillo is a great retirement destination. It's close to the US/Mexico border, active nightlife, close to beaches, inexpensive (about 1/2 the cost of the average US city), great food, and great people.

I'm from Hermosillo and definitely I don't see myself living here until and after retirement. Is one of the hottest cities in the world (sometimes overpassed 50 celsius degrees in summer), at once is one of the most expensive cities in Mexico and the wages are pretty LOW, the streets are plenty of holes and the cultural offer is almost zero.
