1. Gout
2. Lesch Nyhan syndrome

Hello sir, Im suffering from Gout arthritis and doctor has told me it is due lack of "Xanthine Oxidase Enzymes" in my body, due to which uric acid level in blood increases and causes pain at joints. Is there any way to increase the level of these Enzymes in body?? Plz reply sir.. Thnku in advance

I have a doubt, During the conversion of Inosine to Hypoxanthine, The enzyme name is Nucleotide phosphorylase or Nucleoside Phosphorylase? As per my knowledge and Book it is Nucleoside. Right?
