Test drive one of these today. I have a 2013 Santa Fe at the moment. What impressed me the most was the road noise … it was practically non-existent. A few others I’ve driven recently are so loud.

And I love the blind spot camera when indicating. That’s awesome. And the rear view mirror camera.

I’ve got the diesel model and it came with 20 inch wheels standard

You state can be desiel. So Hybrid ony a petrol 4x4 correct. ?

Just buy the diesel and use the $6K for fuel. Why open yourself up to the complexity of the battery which will greatly depreciate the car as it comes to the end of its warranty..

Just get the 2.2 crdi option. Diesel is the best option for Sorento.

I literally laughed out loud at the one dog in a zoo joke… guess dad jokes come part and parcel with people who are attracted to a Sorrento.

On topic though, why would anyone choose this over the Santa Fe? At this price point it’s up against the Calligraphy but the range starts much lower since it’s hybrid all the way.

It's expensive, complex and hybrid system is not well proven compared to the Toyota system. Pass.
