The U.S. needs to get rid of Trump for national security.

I will not travel to the US anymore. Would usually winter for a bit in Arizona. NO MORE! If our steel is a national security issue guess i'm even more of a risk! Unbelievable. The heck with the USA!

Canada wasn't even a country until 1867.
[Edit: The Confederation of British Colonies that produced the dominion of Canada did not even occur until July 1, 1867. The date we recognize as Canada day. However, Canada was truly born when the land and continents first formed on this planet. Happy now?]

It was us Brits that burned down the White House, as there were no Canadians in 1812. We also burned down the president's palace! Maybe we should do it again! ;)

Russia is suspiciously left out of his dialogue in regards to national security. Hummm

Trump: "♫ I don't want to light the world on fire ♫ ... OH WAIT, I DO!"
He doesn't need Canada to burn down his White House, he's doing a fine job of it all by himself.

What’s really sad and hurtful, is that on September 11, 2001, Canada and it’s east coast in particular, took in all hose flights when the air space over the US was shut down. It was shut down to prevent more of what had just happened in NYC, the Pentagon and Pennsylvania. We accepted that risk of more potential terrorists on our own soil without hesitation to secure the safety of US soil. We had an airport in Newfoundland, for example, where the number of passengers that came off of hose planes caused the town’s population for those few days to double! Those people were instantly provided food, clothes, personal items and beds in the homes of hundreds of “strangers” who became lifelong friends to them. To thank these people, Americans returned home to set up scholarships for schools in those small towns they were so welcomed in. I’m from one of those towns and I know that we would do it again tomorrow if needed, despite this tariff nonsense. How could Trump ever claim that any action that would hurt Canadians could be done because we somehow pose a security threat? We are the anti-threat to the US. I’m sure he doesn’t actually believe that (tho I’m not sure what to believe anymore to be honest) we are a threat but he is using it to slap us tariffs which are illegal and this is the only way he can see to do it. What a awful way to treat your neighbour, your friend and your closest ally. It’s like that saying “with friends like this, who needs an enemy?” What a huge slap in the face of all Canadians, particularly to those little towns in Newfoundland who could have considered that day in September an enormous security threat but chose in an instant to be a friend instead.

I'm so embarrassed. This is absolutely ludicrous. So, so sorry, my Canadian friends. This does NOT reflect the vast majority of Americans' feelings!

So he's actually trying to make the case that Canada is a direct threat to the U.S because they burned down the Whitehouse while they were part of Britain? If he's trying to make this a legitimate claim, then he should've also extended this reasoning to America's relationship with Britain today? I mean, THEY were responsible for burning down the Whitehouse in 1812, and also responsible for fighting against America in a little war called "The American Revolution"!
(I'm not advocating this, I'm just showing the insanity of digging up long forgotten and irrelevant events, just to push an incredibly pointless and absurd agenda)
