Canada has a 12. billion surplus with the USA. That mainly reflects Canada's export of Oil to the US. It's a small price to pay for a safe reliable supply. USA spent 1.5 trillion on the Iraq war. Multinational corporations and corrupt politicians are to blame for America's massive deficit. corporate interests paid off politicians to move factories to China and Mexico. It was nice to help those countries develop infrastructure and markets, but it is now too much of a burden on the USA. Corporations should be targeted for tariffs, not countries.
