In this video, I show a few figurative paintings by artist Hani Dallah. Hani has a long life experience in art creation. His background is full of expressing new ways and new materials. Most of his paintings are expressionistic, and he works on abstraction as well. Hani Dallah was born in Iraq, and then got a degree in art in Iraq. Lastly, he moved to Jordan. Currently, he lives and works as an active artist in Jordan. Besides painting, Hani works as a sculptor as well. In his art, figurative occupied most of his paintings, especially women figures. He insists on showing art for humanity.
Artist statement:I did not choose the place nor the time in which I was born. I did not choose the color of my skin, nor my culture or religion.I was born a child who is no different than any other in this world.A decision is what composed my story, and a decision is a signature inked on paper ((give me my right to be innocent)) so I can live happily.
