This is incredibly accurate in my case. I got ESI because I was thought to have spinal stenosis. I had two epidurals and gave it a chance but had no pain relief. They had me redo my MRI and they suggested facet injections. Two days ago I had the first test for medial branch block. I had 100% pain relief during the 6 hour window. I'm so happy going forth that we've likely found a solution and hopefully another test run and an ablation should fix the problem.

What is the treatment for stenosis. I have no leg pain it is all in my low back if I sit for a bit it gets better so when doing household chores I need to sit about every 20min then I can' do more work or walking. Pain is dull and feels like it gets more intense till I have to sit.

Sadly the #1 mistake is any surgical or semi-surgical intervention. Nobody tells you about Arachnoiditis or Adhesive Arachnoiditis from injections or surgery that pierce the thecal sac and then you come to find out your life is over. Iatrogenic conditions are a very real dark secret to spine treatment.
