Exciting times bro. Had my One R since early Feb and love it, Insta360 is sending me the 1 inch next week as well and I’m stoked to get it! Excited to see your feedback so I can get a head start on knowing what to do with mine.

Honestly Insta360 OneR turned my world upside down in regard to the possibility of 360 action video when done right. One R is the best action cam I’ve ever used, hands down. Super curious about the osmo action and if there is a osmo action 2 coming soon since they launched the original at this time last year.

1" sensor should perform better than Hero8 in low light conditions at the very least. When I took my hero7 out on fishing trips (very early mornings) it was useless until the sun had risen. So yeah, maybe test it at dusk or dawn?

Pretty please could you measure what size is the lens protector. What are the dimensions of the screw in connection? 28mm? 32mm? What is the diameter of the glass part? 48mm? How long is the protector? 10mm?

Thanks for the video. I’m an amateur photographer and this is gonna be my first action camera. The main use is snowboarding shooting both 360 and “hero mode”. Some family vacations, mostly outside, mostly during the day. I’m looking for KISS camera to set ones and have fun with. I probably edit with my IPhone during the flight back home although I got the Pr too. Which one will you recommend for that use?
