How to Sew a Grandmother Flower Garden Quilt Block by Machine

Yes you can sew a hexagon quilt block by machine! With no marking your fabric first...Just cut, and go to your machine....Really! This will speed up the time needed to make the block and yet it still has that good old fashion look.

They way you use that stilletto to point out exactly where to stop and start stitching and how close to the paper's edge and then how you use it to tuck the fabric of the previous seam out of the way -- well, it's just done so effectively to communicate the instructions on what is usually a very tricky block.
