FIX your SCRATCHED Disks! - GCN, Wii, PS1, etc.

In this video, we take a look at how to clean a disk of any kind. But mainly in this tutorial, we are going to be dealing with video game disks, and most importantly the GameCube disk. Make sure to leave a like or dislike depending on how you liked the video. I am not responsible for anything you do to your disk, so it is your decision to try any of these suggestions.

WARNING: Use at YOUR own RISK, and not every disk will work. This is mostly trial & Error.

The lip balm actually worked. It didn't remove any scratches from what I can tell but it did make the games play. I did have to fiddle with opening and closing the lid a few times at the start but once you get past that they work flawlessly

It's so weird. It fixed my GameCube games, but none of my Wii ones. They are all the same age (Like, friggin' ten years old lol)

The lip balm method worked for my Wii Sports Resort. The limp balm I used was "Burt's Bees" I think any limp balm would do the trick but that's what I went with.

I used my glasses cleaning cloth and it worked, thanks a lot 😂🙏🏾

Edit: It stop working in main menu so used water and it worked 👍🏾

Update: it works!! my god finally I have been able to complete this game without it saying that the disc was unable to be read

I’ve been collecting old GameCube games and every game I’ve bought has been perfect! But most of my old wii games when I was a kid are really bad. I had to buy a new copy of wii sports resort. But hey this video helped because I can play my old galaxy save file!

The lip balm literally broke my disc now it gives me an error everytime i put it in the wii

The chapstick thing helped a little for my SADX disc, before I could only watch the intro movie but now I can traverse the menus too.

Omg tysm! The lip gloss worked for me, I recommend cleaning it off with glasses cleaner. Or a polisher (like shown in the video)

One problem with my brawl disc. There is one miscolered spot and that's why it would t work. It lets u watch the cut scene, pick a character then "the disc cannot be read" what should I do?

Unfortunately, this didn't work for my disc. Idk what's wrong with it, I did all methods, instert it multiple times, and even resurfaced it. Even so I really appreciate your content and love to see more tips in the future!!

The chapstick worked for my Dragon Ball Tenkaichi 3 read better. The data that was erased was the intro but everything works properly. Edit: it doesn't work anymore

You can also do the same as lip balm but with nail polish remover
