I'm so tired of debates that divulge into a disagreement about the definition of atheism. Just take the definition of the atheist. And they should take your definition of what you are. No big deal.

Even at the 40:00, PP still tries to shift the burden of proof.
It's such a basic point of any debate and yet he wants to spend so much time here.
It makes no sense unless he's afraid he cant support his own position.

I think before a debate should take place, both sides of the argument should agree on definitions of the basic stances of each other’s position. PP trying to define all atheist’s beliefs as “hard atheism” is honestly just a pathetic attempt to shift the burden of proof.

The concept of the Abrahamic god is so weak that no theist who believes in it argues for it. It’s always a deistic/pantheist deity that has no meaning whatsoever.

Suggestion 😊 Is it possible to have the countdown timer on-screen, such that debaters never need to ask time remaining ... the moderator never needs to interrupt with time remaining ... and the audience can also be aware of how much time is left?

The debate is "Chritianity vs Atheism", and he didn't give any argument for christianity, only against atheism. So, even if he would be right on atheism, he still failed to proof christianity.

I hope Aron will take him on that....

i was raised a roman catholic, my entire family is still roman catholic. PPs concept of a soul is nothing close to any concept of a soul I was ever taught or my family or church would recognise. Our interpretation of the soul is far closer to Arons, the whole you die and the "ghost" version of yourself leaves the body and goes to heaven. Either we were weird catholics or this guys full of it.

PP showing himself to be the intellectual kindergartener that he is. Asserting over Aron what atheism is and then Aron drops the fact he is a board member of the American Atheist society so he probably knows his own and wider atheist view point better than PP and so PP says "you should resign". Don't expect anything else from the guy that supports the institution that institutionalised child abuse.
