I was coming home on a school bus trip when I read online that the Princess announced she had cancer. I just instantly started to cry and had to hide it because of where I was in that moment. I'm more concerned about Kate having the cancer come back down the road rather then that she has it and caught it early only because a lot of people die if it comes back again. It's usually more aggressive each time it comes back. Their children are still very young too.

I experienced the loss of my dad at the same age as Harry. I was very affected, but I did not welcome pity and did not try to use his death to have people give me special allowance to lean on their pity.

The approach taken by Charles and Catherine HAD to be different. Charles is a man of 75yrs with two adult sons. Catherine and William have very young school going children who needed to be shielded. If Catherine had revealed her exact cancer then you have the public talking about how long she has etc which would trickle to the school ground and traumatize her young children. Not sure why people cannot see that angle. With William and Catherine it is all about protecting their young children.

I find it really irritating how all these presenters always suggest that Charles slimed down the monarchy. He did not. It happened by natural attrition. Harry and Meghan CHOSE to leave. Remember they were given a whole year grace period to change their minds and they CHOSE to stay out. Andrew disgraced himself. The late Queen and Prince Philip died. Charles had no control over the natural attrition and now has to work with the numbers he has. It is not a crisis in my view. Harry and Meghan certainly miss the tiara moments but if they were to return it would be as disrupters wanting everything changed to suit them. Charles does not need the drama and therefore will not have them back. He may assign some engagements to someone like Beatrice from time to time but he has no choice but to work with the numbers he has. More focus should be given the Edward and Sophie who do so much. These presenters did not even think to mention them once.

They clearly stated in the statement saying she was having major surgery she wouldn't be back before Easter, I still don't get why people had a meltdown about not seeing her yet when she wasn't due back for a month at least.

If we have learned anything from all the Royal women before, Elizabeth 1, Victoria, queen Mary, the Queen Mother and Elizbeth 11.... Princess Kate will be just as wonderous, strong and make her own statement in history, God bless her in her recovery. With love from USA

I experienced the loss of my mother to brain cancer when I was 37. It still hurts to this day though I don't ask for pity. I remember the great times I had with my mother.
I was shocked when I heard about Princess Catherine's cancer. I pray 🙏 for her continued healing.

Andrew should be kept a long way away from being a working Royal. Yes, he has not been convicted of a crime as of yet, but his mother didn't strip him of everything for nothing and I would hate for Andrew to bring down the house of Windsor.

Why cannot the press consistently get the timing right? Harry was 40 min late, and the king had to get onto his helicopter to get to his destination before the wind of opportunity to go at all necessitated the meeting being only 12 minutes. He invited Harry to go with him and Harry said no, he had to get back.

I find this very sad and I only wish them the best. I HONESTLY HOPE that this family changes their diet and lifestyle in order to prevent cancer from coming back or appearing in other family members. Cancer is preventable.
