The 2021 edition of the IMD-SUTD Smart City Index has been released and it has an interesting story to tell in terms of Smart City dwellers' perceptions of how technology is enhancing the benefits and diminishing the shortcomings of urbanization in their home city. It turns out that COVID-19 and environmental emergencies have led to air quality and health services being top priorities for citizens.
