Ah, back when we were young, vibrant and the world was a wonderful curiosity. With background music such as this how could you not be hopeful?

This was the first song I listened from Yes.... everything new, the voice of Anderson, mandolin, chorus, almost 50 years later it seems unbelievable

This was one of our 2016 archives. Friends, a lot (and I mean A LOT!) has happened since then. For starters, this classic could use another 'restoration Pass' (or two) to build on what we did in 2016, especially now. I hope to eventually make that happen at some point. But there is much more work to do. Let me explain.

Folks, are you aware that there exist many, many legacy artists that unfortunately, the digital age of music has NOT been so kind? For example, one of them is Pop/Country artist, B. J. Thomas. So my studio, LegacyVMP Studio, is on a mission to try and help do our part to change this kind of business climate within the legacy audio industry that we feel is long overdue. I think the time is right for studios like mine (and others!) to take what technology now affords us and turn it into something that can be very positive for the industry as a whole. Will you help us do that?

I like the happiness you express in your music especially that bouncing bass.

YES. They are a band that ruled progressive rock 50 years ago. These musicians were trained in classical music and they were very skilled at their craft. Some of there songs were very long and complicated. They are the most amazing group of talent and precision. Jon Anderson has a great voice and the others are at the top of the rock world. Close To the Edge is a master piece. No one can compare today. THE ART WORK IN THE ALBUMS WERE AMAZING.

This is a 1972 pressing at Phillips Lighting in Richmond, IN - Piros was the master pressman; made sure the product was deep cut properly, hence the rich sound on his work on any Atlantic product.

ST-A-712139RI ST=Stereo, A=Atlantic, 71=year when tape was received for pressing, 2139=catalog number for tape, RI=Richmond, Indiana

I was 8 when this came out, the lyrics, "I've seen all good people turn their heads these days so satisfied I'm on my way." I had no idea what that meant. The part of this song that is in my heart from those days are the next lyrics, :30 ish--take a straighter, stronger course to the corner of your life--but I heard, to the corner of your mind.
"Make the white queen run so fast she hasn't got time to make you wise." I just heard--make the white queen run so fast--I felt the white queen was light and running, protecting me. The music is so magical, I felt I had to follow her to be free. Then the kid's chant of di-di-di-di-di-di-di, get up. Get up. Yes, get up. Get up, keep going. Take the straighter stronger course, follow the White Queen of Light, get up. Keep going.

I love that you HEAR this and think: "Oh, three chord rock." Then you try to play it and realize, "Oh, with SIX key changes in the middle."

I think this is the best version here on YouTube. There are a few others and they don't sound correct like this one does.
