Yo I’m a guy and I’ve always thought I was too linky and tall to dance but you just made me realize how uncomfortable I am with these movements. I can finally dance to music now I’ve literally never danced in front of people besides a slight sway or something. Ive been jumping around in front of my mirror for like 20 min this is incredible

thats so true 😭 I noticed that I used to dance sorta closed in and boxy. It's probably because of how not confident I was. I struggle making big moves as well when the dance is fast paced or requires a lot of energy

for me its super hard to do this, because i do hip hop and ballet so my ballet teacher is alwasy like "stay in your box" and then, for hip hop this happens lol.

I think I’m like this bc I always danced with a lot of people and never really had a solo class so I went were all dancing in our box so we wouldn’t hit each other but now it’s an habit 😭 just like with singing! I was in choir so I’m used to blending my voice but now that I’m trying to sing solo it’s hard to project my voice and if I sing over a song I almost blend in perfectly with the original singer so no one can really hear me 😭

As a dancer my dance teacher quickly taught me (and the rest of the team) not to stay in the box, we would travle across the stage especily for my solos and ballet.
