A little device that can save your day, or help you in a build project. Very useful for the price, I think is a must have device in your tool kit. It was given to me by my new friends at my new job and I thought I would share with you because I like this thing a lot and I think it can help a lot of people :)

Yes! This is what I want for a practical pultrusion rig. Now I just need the same concept in a modular PID heater controller.

For this device, I just need to plug the motor and power supply directly to this control device?
It does not require another control board?

Can you try add extra input on the controller. There is an extra input signal option behind the board. You just need to solder the extra input on it

Is there a way to program it to turn one direction a certain amount and then reverse a certain amount and repeat the cycle? I need to something to twist back and forth precisely

Interesting, I was actually doing something that could do a similar thing, can you make the motor move one step at a time? What I wanted to accomplish was squaring a gantry to perfection, moving one or another stepper motor of the X axis by controlling the steppers moving them bit by bit to be perfectly 90 degrees with the Y-axis

I grabbed one from Amazon. It seems really nice, but I have a few questions. It says it's for NEMA 17/23, but is there any reason I can't use it for NEMA 11 as long as I keep my currents low enough? Second, in the dip switch selector, what the heck is the difference between 2A vs 2B mode? And third, what do they mean by "forward pulses number" and High 3bit / Low 4bit? I have changed this value and don't see a response. I know this isn't pulses per revolution b/c there's another spot to set that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
