A proper DIY guitar build project can only turn out as good as the sum of all parts. Today we look at Guitar Anatomy guitar parts including guitar body, neck, and fuzzy duck pickups to see if they cut the mustard for what we need for our next build.

I was looking to build a guitar but I don't like the colors that come with the body and I don't have a place to paint it

Winter is always project time for me. Cures the doldrums. Helps to get rid of all those spare parts you have lying around as well. Nice choice in color BTW, matte white yellows over time taking on the look of antique white😁

Aw shucks, I ordered the 'Brand X ' DIY tele kit from Amazon ( i'm trying to get Bezos back in Space), lol. I'm going to try doing a fabric top and the Finish of the guitar will be my main focus.
It's great to be living in the Age of Affordable Quality Guitars but we still appreciate Gurus like Tony! 😉

Should I do it? I am inclined to do the same with a cheap-o Harley Benton TE-20 for 89EUR it's a cheap finished body in the very least. I will gut the rest including the neck, but like you say, I never have the courage to do it myself. Particularly mounting the neck to the body (I shriek! is it straight? am I doing it right? oh darn! it's crooked, etc haha) Never soldered either
