What’s amazing is how much corruption must have occurred before body cams. You can tell by the way the conversation goes what they would have done without the cams.

Body cameras are truly a corrupt cop's worst nightmare. I wish I could tell every corrupt cop, "if you have nothing to hide, then you shouldn't mind being recorded".

In the second case, the one that happened in Texas City, the reason the cop (Haroll) who detained the man was fired above all was because he only put the cuffs on that man after the man threatened to report him to his superiors. It was a revenge arrest. It's wild, because I live there and go to that Buc'ee's a lot. Glad that guy's off the street...

I love how 99% of the times if the encounter would have not been recorded on the dashcams and bodycams, we would not be able to see these officers forgetting what they studied during their training.

It's terrifying to think of what went on BEFORE cameras - cellphone or body-cam.
And the entire force is corrupt - when they escalate things all the way UP the chain of command, break so many laws - and demonstrate their corruption - by driving the drunk home instead of charging him - - and all ON camera.

Man on man, seeing how they handled that old chief even though there’s video evidence … I can only imagine what corrupt police with status would get away with when the camera isn’t rolling.

The ridiculous thing is that you can't even feel good when a bad cop gets fired because they'll just go to another county to get a job. They need to start implementing life time bans

I got a dui years ago in a semi truck. I got DOUBLE the penalities(rightfully so) because I was in a position of trust to drive one of those on public roadways and I bettayed that. When cops betray their oath they need stiffer penalties than the regular public.
