500g Cod Pacific raw

Crust
2 tbsp Flour
1/2 tsp, ground Thyme dried
1 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp Seasoned salt by Lawry's
1 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp, leaves Oregano
1 tsp Pepper black
1/2 tsp Pepper red or cayenne spice

Sauce
1 tbsp Olive oil
1/8 cup Butter salted
1 tbsp Minced garlic
1/2 cup Chicken stock

- steps -

Pan fry 3-4min each side - med/high heat

Just tried this for dinner and it came out great! I pair it with steamed broccoli and egg noodles. I tosses the noodles in the lemon butter sauce and topped with the fish and broccoli on the side. I think I put too much lemon juice so I had to make a slurry to thicken it and it was great! My toddler loves this and asked for more noodles. Thanks for this great recipe ❤

Well, I’ve managed to screw up another perfectly good recipe. Coating stuck to the pan, despite extra butter/olive oil, and fish took forever to cook through (I used my fish thermometer). Cod fell apart upon flipping and most of the crust is still stuck to my pan! Oh well. I’m sure it’s me (pan too hot, I don’t cook with non-stick surfaces, thick slices of cod 🤷🏻‍♀️). Anyway, thank for posting. 😉
