It's so sad that we sometimes get caught up in the worldly ways of thinking that everything has to look good or be done a certain way. When we do that we worry so much about 'just going through the motions' and 'putting looks and rituals' before God thinking we are doing it for Him when we are really just doing it for ourselves. When we do that we are actually separating ourselves from God and losing opportunities to witness to people who desperately need Jesus! I'm not judging or pointing fingers because I've been guilty of this too. We have to remember that God comes first all day every day, 365 days a year and for all eternity!! ❤
