Ok I wasn't too sure of this when I first picked it up, But once I nailed the handling it has now become a great game and the career is very robust, As for the shadow pop in, Yes it's there but when you are in that zone and concentration is at max you really don't notice it. It really doesn't deserve all the negative reviews.

Shadow draw is unfortunately so bad, is like a cloud is racing you and is always 5 meters ahead . This needs an update . I would be happy if I could just not have any shadows at all then to live with this, is very distracting .
The rest is amazing, best racing game so far for Switch, controls are also very good comparative to GearClub .

I’m really starting to get sick of these racing games that attempt to simulate you being the “up and coming super amazing racer dude” with contracts and having an agent with boring dialog and being forced to complete events and shit. I wish racing games would go back to the simplicity like the old Burnout games for example, where you can just pick your car and track and that’s it.

The big problem with racing games on the switch is that it doesn't have analog triggers.

Its a great looking game on switch and controls are spot on for a rally game, each car really feels different, weight etc

The level of pandering the voiceover in the games story mode is disappointing. It sounds as if the developers asked the woman to read with enthusiasm for players not at all familiar with rally, or how contracts or a real agent would act. She sounds like an “everybody gets a trophy” casting.
Not to mention just witnessed a car rollover and take no damage. No dents or panels fly off. I’d rather play a 1 to 1 port of Colin McRae rally for the OG Xbox than a shiny racer with not a dent.

Not a bad wee game, not bad at all, been having fun with it so far, but the frame rate on the off road Buggy races is terrible.

Can the controls be REMAPPED? I like to shift by pressing the L buttons, and accelerate/brake by pressing the face buttons like a/b/x/y
