A full detail including colour restoration on a 2005 Combo Van - ex British Gas as you can see from the vid!

Another happy customer with great results on their van!
Being a cleaning company vehicle, the aim of this project was to make the outside of the van more presentable, whilst not perfect as it is 15 years old!
This van had been somewhat neglected and having been parked under trees had accumulated loads of vegetation growing on the body work!
Starting with a rinse down, this van got chemical decontamination to get rid of bug, tar, iron and other fallout, and then a going over with a clay bar to pick off anything else that was stuck on there.
Door shuts were then cleaned with a good degreaser, and thoroughly rinsed to get rid of the organic matter that had collected in there!
After rinsing, the van got a bloody good wash with car shampoo, rinse down and left to dry.
Turning to the interior, which was not a priority on this vehicle, so the interior was given a good vacuum, carpets and seats given some shampoo and a good brush, plastics and bulkheads cleaned, then the plastics dressed.
After spending a good couple of hours doing the interior, the van was dry and ready for its transformation from a dull, flat body (that you could still see British Gas signwriting on!) to a lovely shiny, protected blue!
So, on with the colour restorer, and after this treatment, the colour was already starting to come good, and a go over the van with a machine polish brought that lovely shine out.
The paintwork was then given a coating of hard shell wax, which should give it protection for 6 months, the plastics treated to revive the faded trim, windows cleaned in and out and finally the tyres dressed!
All in all, 10 hours spent to get this van looking a super shiny blue, ready to hit the road and impress customers!!
