Bottled Beach Tutorial! Easy and Cute :)

Supplies:

Mini bottles can be found at Michael's, Joann Fabrics, Hobby Lobby, Amazon, Etsy, and eBay.

I purchased the craft sand and shells at Hobby Lobby but I'm sure they are available at most craft stores. You could even use natural sand and shells.

I used easycast resin and it can be found at most craft stores or online. Make sure to review the safety details before beginning resin work.

If I have sand on the bottom of a jar and want to harden it and pour water on top can I use resin to seal it??

I have made a large version of this in a jar, the transparency is not very good lots of small bubbles. it has been around 6 hours and it looks like it is not going to be transparent. will it come clear ?

So when I’ve done this, the bottom of my bottles keep cracking. Do you know if there is a fix to that or why it might happen? I’ve been using epoxy resin.

I have tried with Elmer's clear glue one week ago and it has been taking ages to dry...tried heating with hairdryer and oven..and it is still liquid.

I've heard that using acrylic paint isn't good to use in a bottle charm. If I use a drop or two of glow in the dark glue to the mixture, will that separate over time and become streaky??
