I completely agree with what you said. When I first started learning English, my initial focus was solely on improving my job opportunities, especially since I was looking for international positions. But over time, I realized that learning English is opening doors for me far beyond my career.

Consuming content in English, including your videos and podcasts, has not only helped me communicate better professionally but also expanded my worldview, allowed me to connect with people from different cultures, and even helped me grow personally.

Today, I understand that learning English is more than just a work-related goal; it’s a way to enrich our lives as a whole. Thank you for always sharing such important reflections on the learning journey!

I started learning English in January at A2 level out of boredom, I didn't know what to do and I thought that in today's globalised world it was important to speak English and that it could eventually bring me new opportunities in a change of job.
Since then I'm at B2 level and I'm thinking of changing jobs (I'm a projectionist and professional photographer) for one where you have to speak English, but I don't know what to do ahahaha.

I disagree. Any reason is good to develop and achieve our goals. If the language is to be a tool to achieve your goal, then great. Why not?
