My 335i launches the same way, or it’s supposed to but for some reason it just instantly starts doing a burnout it doesn’t build up boost, I can do some minty smokey launches tho

Not really sure about g80 platform but f30 is same procedure except pressing the TC button.

I just double tap M2 then foot on brake and floor it and it comes up with launch control active then I drop the brake and she (X5M first edition) just flies off

Try it on a diesel BMW.
Petrol launches are tame in comparison.
