I think this song is perfect. Coming out of detox and a 2 month rehab for alcohol abuse, we were taught many things. One of the biggest I still try to add to my daily routine, (That is what my life has to be, a structured daily routine), was to appreciate and love that person you see in the mirror. I will tell you one thing, after 60 plus HARD tough days, I love seeing that person looking back at me in the mirror. I started being happy, not only for myself, but all those around me. Specially my family. Those that saw I needed help. This song can mean differently for others, but I see it this way and I love it and now I am crying haha. 41 year old alcoholic (I will always be, so I can never drink again, but that is fine with me). I am glad I listened to my first Jax song on the way home from an early morning Kid dropoff to school, (My sisters kids) and then a AA meeting. God bless you all.
