i've been looking for simple differences for weeks
between return feedback from egpu to the laptop

Hmmm. I've connected HP Omen Accelerator with 1080Ti in it and it worked flawlessly on first connect. I've got few hours gameplay on it, tested a bunch of different thunderbolt cables, restarted a few times, gamed some more - worked great. I left to work, grabbed WM2 with me but when I came back home few hours ago eGPU no longer works with WM2. It's not detected upon plugging, doesn't show up in device manager. I've tested it with another laptop and it works as intended but with GPD no dice... I've tried reinstalling drivers, rolling back windows restore point, reinstalling system altogether - no dice. It refuses to work. It shouldn't be Windows related however because when I was restarting with eGPU plugged in (when it was still working) I would get picture through eGPU connected monitor before Windows loaded in... Any ideas what the hell is going on? :(

This is the notification im having on windows 10 home or do i need to convert my windows into windows 10 pro when I plug the thunderbolt into my device it starts lagging
